As a multi-media creative Jane's career has spanned newspapers, magazines, television and the internet. With her art works for inside hanging she channels her imagination and love of light and colour into her works on canvas, paper, board and silk.

Jane has spent a lifetime creating fabulous images – in words and in pictures – and now with garden art she is producing unique works that take the inside outside
On a quest to find plants that would add excitement to the darkest corner of a north facing garden she came up with the idea of making her abstract paintings do the work. The result – colour, interest and the impression of sunshine all year round
The garden was the best in show winner and awarded a premium gold medal at the 2019 Harrogate flower show. Jane was commissioned by international garden designer David Wyndham Lewis and the Perennial Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society to create three circular canvases representing the stages of life from birth and beyond.

The Ripley garden has a surprise round every corner including this painting commissioned to be seen from the barbecue area. The colours complement the garden at different times of the year.
The 2015 Malmö Garden Show in Sweden saw the first European showcasing of Jane’s garden art. Two canvases were commissioned by David Wyndham Lewis for his acclaimed international garden. Jane was inspired by the quintessentially English garden and David's final planting was inspired by her Art.

From Valentine's day sized mini canvases to oversized installations hearts are a recurrent theme in Jane's work.
